By purchasing raffle entries, you are helping provide faith formation, retreats, Bible studies, discipleship, service opportunities, worship, fellowship, outreach, and countless other programs that lead college students into a deeper relationship with Jesus Christ.
Each raffle entry is $25, with each purchased entry providing another chance to win our beautifully restored 1965 Chevrolet C10 Pickup Truck.
All proceeds from this raffle directly benefit St. Albert the Great Newman Center Catholic Campus Ministry at New Mexico State University.
The raffle officially begins on Sunday, August 30, 2026, immediately following our annual Mass on the Grass celebration, and concludes on Sunday, August 29, 2027, when the winning entry will be randomly drawn and publicly announced following the Mass on the Grass event.
Participants must be 18 years of age or older to enter. All raffle entries are non-refundable. The winner does not need to be present at the drawing and will be notified by telephone using the contact information provided at the time of entry.
Whether you purchase one entry or many, every entry helps strengthen Catholic Campus Ministry at NMSU and supports our mission of forming students in faith, building authentic Christian community, and preparing the next generation of Catholic leaders.

No. All raffle entries are final and non-refundable.
When does the raffle begin?
The raffle begins on Sunday, August 30, 2026, following our annual Mass on the Grass celebration.
When will the winner be selected?
The raffle concludes on Sunday, August 29, 2027.
The winning entry will be randomly selected and publicly announced following the annual Mass on the Grass event.
How will the winner be notified?
The winner will be notified by telephone using the contact information provided at the time of entry.
Participants are responsible for providing complete and accurate contact information.
What happens if the winner cannot be reached?
St. Albert the Great Newman Center will make reasonable attempts to contact the selected winner using the information associated with the winning entry.
The selected winner must respond and complete all required eligibility, identification, tax, and vehicle-transfer documentation within the period specified by St. Albert the Great Newman Center.
If the winner cannot be contacted, is determined to be ineligible, declines the prize, or fails to complete the required documentation within the specified period, St. Albert the Great Newman Center reserves the right to select an alternate winner, subject to applicable law.
What about taxes on the truck?
Winning a vehicle through a raffle may result in federal and state tax obligations.
St. Albert the Great Newman Center intends to pay the required federal and New Mexico withholding amounts associated with awarding the vehicle to the winner, subject to applicable tax law.
The winner will be required to provide all information and documentation necessary for tax reporting and withholding, including a valid taxpayer identification number.
Payment of required withholding by St. Albert the Great Newman Center does not constitute tax advice or a guarantee that the winner will have no additional federal, state, or local tax liability arising from winning the vehicle. The winner is responsible for consulting their own tax adviser regarding their individual tax situation.
Who pays for title, registration and insurance?
Unless otherwise expressly stated by St. Albert the Great Newman Center, the winner is responsible for expenses associated with title, registration, licensing, insurance, transportation, storage, maintenance, and future ownership of the vehicle.
Can I take cash instead of the truck?
There is no guaranteed cash alternative to the grand prize.

Official Rules & Regulations
1. Sponsor and Purpose
The raffle is sponsored and conducted by St. Albert the Great Newman Center for the benefit of its Catholic Campus Ministry serving students at New Mexico State University.
All net proceeds from the raffle will be used to support the charitable and religious mission and programs of St. Albert the Great Newman Center Catholic Campus Ministry.
2. Eligibility
The raffle is open only to individuals who are 18 years of age or older at the time of entry and who are legally eligible to participate.
The raffle is void where prohibited or restricted by law.
It is the responsibility of each participant to ensure that participation is lawful in the jurisdiction in which the participant is located.
3. Entry
Each raffle entry costs $25.
Each valid entry represents one chance in the grand-prize drawing. Participants may purchase multiple entries, subject to applicable law.
An entry is considered valid only after payment has been successfully received and the entry has been accepted into the raffle.
Incomplete, fraudulent, altered, improperly submitted, or otherwise invalid entries may be disqualified.
4. No Refunds
All raffle entry purchases are final and non-refundable, except where otherwise required by law.
Purchasing additional entries increases the number of chances a participant has in the drawing but does not guarantee that the participant will win.
5. Raffle Period
The raffle begins on Sunday, August 30, 2026, following the annual Mass on the Grass celebration.
The raffle concludes on Sunday, August 29, 2027.
Entries must be successfully received before the announced closing of the raffle to be included in the drawing.
St. Albert the Great Newman Center is not responsible for entries that are delayed, incomplete, lost, misdirected, improperly processed, or not successfully received because of technical or payment-processing problems beyond its reasonable control.
6. Grand Prize
The grand prize is one 1965 Chevrolet C10 Pickup Truck.
The vehicle will be transferred to the verified winner in its condition at the time of transfer.
Unless expressly stated otherwise in writing, no cash equivalent, substitution, exchange, or alternative prize is guaranteed.
7. Vehicle Condition
The grand prize is a vintage 1965 motor vehicle.
The winner acknowledges that the operation, maintenance, safety equipment, reliability, comfort, and other characteristics of a classic vehicle may differ substantially from those of a modern motor vehicle.
The vehicle is awarded in its existing condition at the time of transfer, except for any express written representations made by St. Albert the Great Newman Center.
To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, St. Albert the Great Newman Center makes no additional warranties, express or implied, regarding the condition, merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, future reliability, or future value of the vehicle.
The winner is encouraged to independently inspect the vehicle before taking possession.
8. Drawing and Winner Selection
One winner will be selected at random from all valid and eligible raffle entries.
The drawing is scheduled to take place on Sunday, August 29, 2027, following the annual Mass on the Grass event.
The winner does not need to be present to win.
The determination of the winning entry and verification of eligibility will be conducted by St. Albert the Great Newman Center in accordance with these Official Rules and applicable law.
9. Winner Notification and Verification
The selected winner will be contacted by telephone using the contact information associated with the winning entry.
The selected winner must provide satisfactory proof of identity and age and complete all documentation reasonably required to:
verify eligibility;
satisfy applicable federal and state tax reporting requirements;
complete required tax withholding;
transfer legal ownership of the vehicle; and
comply with applicable laws and regulations.
The selected winner may be required to provide a valid Social Security number or other taxpayer identification number before the prize can be awarded.
Failure to provide required documentation may result in forfeiture of the prize and selection of an alternate winner, subject to applicable law.
10. Taxes and Tax Withholding
The fair market value of a vehicle won through a raffle may constitute taxable gambling income to the winner under federal and applicable state law.
St. Albert the Great Newman Center intends to pay the required federal and New Mexico withholding amounts associated with awarding the vehicle to the winner, subject to applicable law and the final fair market value used for tax-reporting purposes.
St. Albert the Great Newman Center will complete applicable tax reporting and withholding documentation as required by law.
The winner agrees to provide all information and signatures necessary for St. Albert the Great Newman Center to comply with these obligations.
Any withholding paid by St. Albert the Great Newman Center on behalf of the winner may itself affect the amount reported as gambling winnings under applicable tax rules.
Payment of required withholding does not constitute a promise to pay every tax liability the winner may ultimately owe.
The winner remains responsible for any federal, state, local, or other tax liability exceeding the amounts specifically paid or withheld by St. Albert the Great Newman Center.
Participants and the winner are encouraged to consult their own qualified tax professional regarding the tax consequences of participation and receipt of the prize.
11. Title, Registration, Insurance and Possession
Following verification of the winner and completion of required tax documentation, St. Albert the Great Newman Center will cooperate with the winner to transfer legal ownership of the vehicle.
Unless expressly stated otherwise, the winner is responsible for all costs associated with:
vehicle title and registration;
license plates;
motor vehicle insurance;
transportation or delivery;
storage;
inspections;
maintenance and repairs; and
future ownership and operation.
The winner is responsible for obtaining legally required insurance and registration before operating the vehicle on public roads.
12. Publicity
Except where prohibited by law, acceptance of the prize may constitute permission for St. Albert the Great Newman Center to publicly announce the winner's name and to use the winner's name, photograph, likeness, and general city/state of residence in reasonable communications relating to the raffle, its results, and the mission of St. Albert the Great Newman Center, without additional compensation.
13. Release and Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, by accepting the prize the winner assumes responsibility for the possession, registration, insurance, maintenance, use, and operation of the vehicle after transfer.
St. Albert the Great Newman Center and its officers, employees, volunteers, representatives, and agents shall not be responsible for injuries, losses, damages, claims, or liabilities arising from the winner's ownership, possession, transportation, maintenance, or operation of the vehicle after transfer, except to the extent liability cannot legally be waived or limited.
Nothing in these Official Rules is intended to waive rights or impose limitations that cannot lawfully be waived or limited.
14. Errors, Fraud and Technical Problems
St. Albert the Great Newman Center reserves the right to reject or disqualify entries reasonably determined to be fraudulent, duplicated through error, improperly submitted, obtained through unauthorized means, or otherwise inconsistent with these Official Rules.
If a technical, administrative, printing, payment-processing, security, or other error materially affects the integrity of the raffle, St. Albert the Great Newman Center may take reasonable corrective action consistent with applicable law.
15. Modification, Suspension or Cancellation
St. Albert the Great Newman Center reserves the right to modify, postpone, suspend, or cancel the raffle if required by applicable law or if circumstances beyond its reasonable control materially affect the integrity or lawful operation of the raffle.
Any material changes will be communicated through the official raffle website.
16. Governing Law
The raffle and these Official Rules are governed by applicable federal law and the laws of the State of New Mexico, without regard to conflict-of-law principles.
Participation is void where prohibited by law.
17. Acceptance of Rules
By purchasing or otherwise acquiring a raffle entry, each participant acknowledges that they have read, understood, and agreed to be bound by these Official Rules & Regulations.
Participation in the raffle constitutes acceptance of these rules.
